Money

Money can be generated in 2 ways. First, your rows generate 1 money every 10 seconds for every factory you own. Second, you can successfully attack opposing rows and loot their coffers.

Money can buy many things:

  • Money Factory: Increases Cash Reserves
  • Fuel Factory: Increases Fuel Reserves
  • Attackers: Attacks other rows and also defends your row (20 money per unit)
  • Defenders: Defends your row (10 money per unit)
  • Increase Attack Multiplier (AM): Improves the effectiveness of your Attackers
  • Increase Defense Multiplier (DM): Improves the effectiveness of your Defenders
  • Row Creators: These can be used to create new rows for you to expand your empire.

Together, Money Factories, Fuel Factories, Attack Multiplier and Defense Multiplier are collectively known as upgrades. These upgrades cannot be destroyed when another player attacks you. Each upgrade also add one more day to your maximum idle time.

Getting Started

When you first start the game, focus on increasing your Money and Fuel factories. This will be the engine to use to grow your row. 10+ factories is good number to aim for but you can start doing a lot with 6-8.

Once you grow your factories a little, consider getting some defenders in place to protect your cash while you're not around.

You should also consider increasing your defense multiplier.

There are pros and cons to increasing this -- the pro is that your defenders will be more powerful with a higher DM; The con is that your row will become more vulnerable to attacks from strong attackers: in order for an opponent to attack you, they must have an AM of no more than the greater of your AM or your DM plus 3.

Keeping a DM of 1 and having a lot of defenders is a valid strategy but many people find that increasing your DM is more efficient as long as you don't present too great of a target.
